Most "air duct cleaning" sold in this country is a vacuum hose at a few registers and a coupon price that should tell you everything. Prime Chimney Experts does not do that job. We clean duct systems the way the National Air Duct Cleaners Association actually defines it — full source removal, negative-pressure containment, the whole supply and return system addressed, with before-and-after proof. It's the premium version of a service the industry has spent twenty years cheapening, and it's the only version worth paying for.
Consider what's actually in a neglected duct system. Years of settled dust and dander, construction debris in a newer home, pet and pollen load, and — in humid climates and on wet evaporator coils — microbial growth that the blower pushes into every room each cycle. Cleaning the registers does nothing about the trunk lines, the plenums, and the return chamber where the heaviest load collects. A real cleaning has to reach all of it, and reaching all of it is the work.
Our method is deliberate and contained. We put the system under negative pressure so loosened debris is captured, never released into your home. We cut listed access ports where needed and run rotary brushes and compressed-air whips through the supply trunk and every branch, the return trunk and return drops, the plenums, and the registers, grilles, and diffusers — each pulled, washed, and HEPA-vacuumed. We clean the evaporator A-coil and the squirrel-cage blower wheel, where biofilm and caked dust quietly strangle airflow and breed odor. Then we close every access port with a listed plug or door, so the system is serviceable next time. For clients who want it, we finish with an EPA-registered antimicrobial fogging to treat lingering odor and microbial growth, and we can document particulate, VOC, and humidity levels before and after to prove the result.
The PCE finish is the documentation and the honesty. You get before/after photos of the trunk interiors — the part you'd otherwise never see — and a clear statement of what we found and what we did. If your ducts are reasonably clean and don't need the full source-removal treatment, we'll tell you, because a premium brand's credibility is worth more than a single oversold job. That posture is exactly why property managers, allergy-sensitive families, and high-end homeowners across the country standardize on us.
This hub covers whole-home NADCA source-removal cleaning; supply and return trunk, branch, and plenum cleaning; register, grille, and diffuser pull-and-wash; evaporator-coil and blower-wheel cleaning; post-construction drywall-dust cleanout; antimicrobial fogging; commercial RTU and VAV duct cleaning and balancing; and the IAQ documentation that proves it all. The related sealing, replacement, and air-quality upgrades live in their own hubs (D2–D4) and pair naturally with a cleaning.
Because PCE is a national brand built on a single craftsmanship standard, the NADCA method and the documentation are identical in every market — a duct cleaning in Atlanta is the same rigorous job as one in Austin. You're not hoping the local coupon company owns the right equipment; you're getting the brand that earned its name on premium chimney work, applied to the air your family breathes. The premium is in the containment, the coverage, and the proof.

Family-owned, CSIA-certified, NFPA 211–compliant. We're the team you call when you want it done right the first time — no rotating subcontractors, no upsell pressure, no surprises. Same techs, same trucks, same standard.

The NFPA recommends an annual chimney inspection (Level 1), with sweeping done when buildup reaches 1/8" of creosote. For active wood-burning fireplaces, that's typically once per heating season.
Our chimney inspectors hold current CSIA (Chimney Safety Institute of America) certifications, verifiable via the CSIA member directory at csia.org. We also have NFI specialists for fireplace installations.
