No — Prime Chimney Experts provides free estimates on most service calls inside our standard DFW service area. We may charge a nominal inspection fee ($149-$-+) for Level-2 real-estate inspections or Level-3 post-event diagnostic work, where the inspection itself is the deliverable.
Will you match a competitor’s quote?
We’ll review any written competitor quote line-by-line. If they’re using equivalent materials (refractory firebrick, lifetime-warranty stainless caps, vapor-permeable sealers — not the cheap silicone alternatives) and equivalent scope, we routinely match or beat. We won’t match quotes that cut safety-critical scope.
Are these prices guaranteed?
Yes — once we provide a written quote based on an on-site inspection, that price is fixed for the scope described. The only exception is genuinely-hidden damage that’s not visible until we open up the work (e.g., rotted decking under the flashing). In that case we stop and re-quote before continuing.
