1. Liner material grade

2. Chimney height and diameter

A 25-foot run is standard. 35+ feet adds material and labor.

3. Number of bends / offsets

Straight runs are simplest. Two or more 30-degree offsets require flexible liner sections and additional cutting — adds $300-$-+.

4. Existing flue condition

A flue that’s structurally sound just needs a liner dropped in. A flue with breached walls needs cast-in-place ($4,890+) because the cement reinforces the structure as it cures.

5. Removal of existing failed liner
