1. Why We Are Publishing This Disclosure

Generative artificial intelligence has become a routine part of how many businesses produce written material for their websites. Prime Chimney Experts uses AI assistance in parts of our content workflow, and we believe customers deserve a clear, plain-language explanation of how and where that happens. This page is that explanation.

This disclosure is also consistent with the public guidance Google has offered through its Search Central documentation, which advises that AI-assisted content is acceptable when it is useful, original, and produced with appropriate human oversight, and that disclosure of AI involvement is appropriate where it would matter to readers. We agree, and we err on the side of transparency.

2. Where We Use AI Assistance

AI tools assist us in the following narrowly defined ways:

  • First Drafts of Informational Articles. When we publish a long-form guide on a topic such as “how often should a chimney be inspected” or “what to look for in a high-efficiency furnace,” an AI model may help produce the initial draft based on prompts written by a human editor who specifies the audience, the target reading level, the points to cover, and the brand voice.
  • Structural Outlining. AI tools help us outline service-area pages, location pages, and seasonal landing pages so that we cover each topic consistently.
  • Metadata and Headings. Page titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, and FAQ-style microcopy are frequently drafted with AI assistance and then reviewed by a human.
  • Summaries and Rewrites. AI tools help us condense long technical content for site visitors and rewrite passages for clarity.
  • Internal Operations. We use AI to summarize internal documents, draft reply templates for our team, and route inbound messages. This use does not appear on the public site.

3. Where We Do Not Use AI

Just as importantly, we want to be clear about what AI is not doing on this site:

  • Customer Reviews and Testimonials. Every review, testimonial, and case study attributed to a real customer on this site reflects feedback from a real customer. We do not generate fake reviews. We do not invent customer names, photos, or stories.
  • Service Outcomes and Statistics. Statements such as “we have served thousands of households in the Texas area” or numerical claims about response times reflect our actual records, not AI-imagined figures.
  • Pricing. No pricing displayed on this site is generated by AI without human verification. AI cannot commit Prime Chimney Experts to a price. All pricing is set by our leadership and confirmed by the technician on site after inspection.
  • Service Commitments. AI does not make scheduling commitments, dispatch promises, or warranty representations on our behalf. If our website or a chat tool appears to make such a commitment, that commitment is non-binding until confirmed by a human team member in writing or by phone.
  • Safety, Code, and Regulatory Information. Where we describe building codes, manufacturer specifications, NFPA standards, or safety practices, those passages are reviewed by a human team member with the relevant trade qualifications, and we link to the underlying authoritative source whenever practical.

4. Human Review and Fact-Checking

Every piece of AI-assisted content on this site is reviewed before publication by a human team member. The reviewer is responsible for:

  • Confirming that factual claims match our actual practices, our actual equipment list, our actual service areas, and current code or manufacturer guidance.
  • Removing any “hallucinated” statistic, citation, or assertion that the AI produced but that cannot be substantiated.
  • Editing tone and word choice to match the brand voice and the regional vocabulary of the Texas customers we serve.
  • Ensuring that promotional language complies with state advertising rules and that no warranty or safety claim is overstated.
  • Adding internal links, citations, and disclaimers as appropriate.

If we discover after publication that an AI-assisted passage contains a factual error, we correct it. Significant corrections are noted at the bottom of the affected page with the date of the correction.

5. Limits on AI Authority

To remove any ambiguity: artificial intelligence has no authority to commit Prime Chimney Experts to service, pricing, schedule, warranty, or any other obligation. Any chat reply, form auto-response, or generated message that appears to offer or confirm an obligation is for convenience only and is not binding until a human team member confirms it. If you ever rely on an AI-generated reply and a discrepancy arises, the human-confirmed terms govern.

6. How This Aligns with Search Guidance

Google’s published guidance on AI-generated content emphasizes that the question is not whether AI was involved but whether the content is helpful, reliable, people-first, and produced with appropriate oversight. By disclosing AI involvement, scoping it narrowly, and pairing every AI-assisted draft with human review and fact-checking, we aim to satisfy that standard. We do not use AI to mass-generate low-quality pages aimed solely at ranking for search queries, and we do not stuff articles with synonyms or generated copy to manipulate search results.

7. Data Handling Inside Our AI Workflow

Customer personal information is not used to train third-party AI models. The prompts we send to AI tools for content drafting contain topics and outlines, not customer records. Where we use AI to summarize internal messages, the underlying messages stay within our controlled systems and the AI providers we use operate under data-processing agreements that prohibit the reuse of our prompt content to train their public models. Our Privacy Policy describes our general data practices in more detail.

8. Questions, Corrections, and Feedback

If you believe a passage on this site contains a factual error, an out-of-date statement, or a claim that appears to have been generated without proper review, please tell us. We will investigate and, where warranted, correct the page.

9. Updates to This Disclosure

The way we use AI in content production will continue to evolve as the underlying tools evolve. We will update this disclosure to reflect material changes in our workflow, in the categories of content where AI is involved, or in our human-review practices. The Effective Date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
